Taking the Plunge to Fight Cancer

In my immediate social circle, no less than three friends are faced with challenges surrounding Cancer. I will try to finish as close to the top as possible, but unfortunately, that will have no impact on the donations. 

That, I leave up to you!

In years past, I would collect donation pledges based on a distance goal - for example $10 per 500 meters. I would then surprise my donors by swimming 10,000 meters. That only worked because I used to be so cute. 

Now that I'm not a sweet little kid, I rely on you all to make large, flat donations. This organization has raised just under 1 million EUR across 14 events to directly fund selected research initiatives in pediatric Hodgkin's lymphoma, lung cancer, myeloid leukemia, and genetic causes of cancer in young adults.
