Running for awareness and gratitude.
Cancer was something I never imagined would affect me so young or so early in my life. I’m taking part in the LoveLife Run to raise awareness that cancer can affect younger people too, and to support the importance of early diagnosis and cancer research.
I’m originally from New Zealand, but Amsterdam has been my home for the past few years. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, kindness and support I have received here in the Netherlands. Through this run, I hope to give something back and contribute to the fight against cancer in the country that has taken such good care of me.
