With a heavy heart, but a more determined spirit, I will swim this 2km for my mom and in memory of my mom. We lost her this summer after her fight with cancer.

Swimming to raise money for cancer research.
My heart and mind are with my mom throughout her fight with cancer. Her strength, determination and generosity have always inspired me. Right now, she’s rebuilding her strength following recent cancer treatments — walking short distances where she once walked miles. Like her, I’m training to go farther, to grow stronger, and to keep moving. We’re on parallel paths — both pushing forward, step by step. I’m swimming in honor of her and in support of cancer research — for everyone who’s fighting, recovering, or remembering.
