In actie voor het Prinses Máxima Centrum
Op 7 oktober 2025 is mijn zoon gediagnosticeerd met Neuroblastoom - Stadium M - een agressieve vorm van kinderkanker.
Sindsdien staat hij onder behandeling in het Prinses Máxima Centrum (PMC). Ons (gezins-)leven staat weliswaar op zijn kop, maar door de expertise en professionaliteit van het Prinses Máxima Centrum staan wij er niet alleen voor.
De volledige opbrengst van Swim to Fight Cancer Leerdam gaat naar het Prinses Máxima Centrum, het grootste kinderkankercentrum van Europa. Hier werken artsen en onderzoekers elke dag aan betere behandelingen en meer genezing voor kinderen met kanker.

Taking Action for the Princess Máxima Center
Friday 13th Mar On October 7, 2025, my son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma – Stage M – an aggressive form of childhood cancer.Since then, he has been receiving treatment at the Princess Máxima Center (PMC). Our family life has certainly been turned upside down, but thanks to the expertise and professionalism of the Princess Máxima Center, we are not facing this alone.
The full proceeds of Swim to Fight Cancer Leerdam go to the Princess Máxima Center, the largest pediatric cancer center in Europe. Here, doctors and researchers work every day on better treatments and increasing the chances of recovery for children with cancer. Share
