Big relief but it took long!!
Wednesday 29th AprLast summer, I had a health check in Japan.
The results showed that I had a high risk factor for stomach cancer.
I lost a friend to stomach cancer two years ago. Her cancer was not detected at an early stage.
In my case, it was still at the “risk” stage, but the risk level was high.
It took almost half a year to get my first appointment with a specialist at the hospital.
After several examinations and medication, I received my final results yesterday — eight months after the initial diagnosis.
Fortunately, the high-risk factor is now gone.
I will need another check-up in the future, but no medication is required at the moment.
